Introducing Soldier — our new lead stud ram.

He is Ott Club Lambs’ 2014 keeper ram lamb and has sired lambs that have excelled in the showring and the barn from coarse to coast.

He is sired by Powerball and out of a Top 100 donor ewe.

We are expecting some fantastic daughters and thick, big topped, square hipped, complete, shaggy-legged wethers from him over the next couple of years.

Sires of 2015 Lamb Crop

After getting out this year and attending several sheep shows and sales, we knew what bloodlines intrigued us most. With our focus on genetic pieces from Begalka, Droppert, Ellerbrock and Impact many of our ewes now go back time and again to great bucks such as the Cabaniss-bred Allred-Elliott Composure buck through both Money Maker and Swamp Donkey, Duffy’s Trunk and Young Jock bucks, and Millers’ Masterpiece and Buckmaster bucks. Being unable to find “just the right” stud ram, we also decided to A.I. most of our mature ewes. Needless to say, we are looking forward to our 2015 lamb crop!

Apollo

Apollo’s dam is a full sister to Care Bear and Impact’s high selling ewe in the 2012 Diva Sale. Most of our mature ewes were bred to Apollo this year. We can’t wait to see his lambs in late January 2015!

Trail Blazer

We love the power of this ram! We had hoped to get a son of his out of the popular Crown Jewel ewe. When that feel through we quickly decided to on using Trail Blaizer for our smallest framed sheep. These matings should be a winning combo!

Pimp Juice

We saw several lambs sired by Pimp Juice this summer and were very impressed. We only bred him to a handful but can’t wait til lambing season begins!

Angry Bird

There are a lot of cool rams out there this year, and in our opinion, this is definitely one of them. I am still not sure how we were able to pull off purchasing multiple ewes bred to Angry Bird, not that we are complaining!

Arms Race

We are very excited to have purchased a Money Maker daughter bred to Arms Race from Impact’s 2014 Bred Ewe Sale.

2014 Club Lamb Sires

Our 2014 lamb crop is destined to be our best yet.

Gunner, Sparky, Sherman, Colt, Strange and Trueblood (double bred Marcantel) should combine with our deep ewe base to provide lambs that are structurally sound, huge topped, deep twisted and full of muscle combined with all the style and “shag” you could ever want!

We are already recieving calls to reserve lambs, so contact us early for the best selection!

2013 Lead Wether Sire Stud Ram

We were so impressed with our 2013 lambs out of GUNNER we have decided to use him again, breeding most of our ewes to him this fall! We can’t wait to see our 2014 lamb crop! Be sure to contact us early if you are looking for show lambs. Most of our lambs will be sold privately and are sold first come, first served.
